August 2018
2017-2018 has been an amazing year for safaris, one of the busiest years for me in recent times, taking me and my guests to many different countries such as Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Botswana and Zimbabwe - all different and all with great locations on offer.
Here are some images from some of the safaris throughout this period….
November 2017 - We took part with other volunteers in an extensive wildlife survey overeen by the Kenya Wildlife Service over the whole of the north of Kenya, the object of which was to count all the elephants, Grevy’s zebras, giraffes, buffaloes and human settlements in the huge area. I spent a week sitting in the back seat of my friend Sean’s Piper Super Cub as he flew the transects and I counted the game. Great fun, spectacular scenery and, ultimately, satisfaction in a job well done with elephant, buffalo and Grevy’s Zebra numbers increased and no recent elephant carcasses seen in the whole area.
