Madagascar Air Safari
From Nairobi, Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam...
Day 1
Depart Nairobi at 0400 hrs in the Cessna 208B Caravan. Fly into the morning, land at Moroni,
Comores, at 0900 hrs. Breakfast on board. Refuel, Toilet stop.
Departure Moroni 1000 hrs, snack served on board. Arrival at Mahajanga 1230 hrs. Immigration into Madagascar, refuel.
Departure Mahajanga 1330 hrs. Arrival Ankavandra 1500 hrs
Start of Manambolo River Tour.... Meet the Guide and begin the float trip. Camping overnight.
Day 2 Manambolo River. Drift downstream. Camping overnight on a sand bar.
Day 3 Manambolo River. Drift downstream, Gorge Camp and Gorge Hiking. Overnight camping.
Day 4. Early morning paddle downstream to Bekopaka. Meet 4x4's and drive to entrance of the Grande Tsingy. Optional visit to the Petite Tsingy at sunset.
Overnight Orchidee Hotel
Day 5 Overlandby vehicle to Bekopaka and south to the town of Belo Tsiribihina. Meet the airplane and depart from Belo Tsiribihina at 1100 hrs. Land Morondava 1145 hrs.
Meet vehicles and transfer to Chez Maggie for lunch, day rooms, swimming pool, beach...
Afternoon excursion to the Baobabs in Love and to the Avenue of the Baobabs for sunset.
Return to Chez Maggie Hotel for overnight.
Day 6. Depart Morondava 0900 hrs. Fly along the coastline, landing Salary Bay at 1000 hrs. Day of relaxing at the beach.
Day 7. Depart Salary Bay 0900 hrs, arrive Berenty Private Reserve at 1030 hrs.
Berenty Private Reserve. Rest of the day at the Reserve with Ring tailed and Sifaka Limurs.
Day 8. Depart Berenty Private Reserve at 1000 hrs, landing at Antsirabe at 1200 hrs. Lunch in Antsirabe, then at 1400 hrs take the Private Michelin Train journey to Antananarivo.
Overnight Antananarivo Hotel Colbert
DAY 9. Depart Antananarivo Ivato at 0900 hrs, landing at Île Sainte Marie at 1015 hrs.
Overnight in Princess Bora Hotel & Spa
Day 10
Depart from Île Saint Marie at 0900 hrs, land at Maroantsetra 0945 hrs
Boat transfer departs at 1045 hrs, arrives Masoala Forest Lodge at 1315 hrs. Lunch at Forest Lodge.
Afternoon; relax swim. Overnight MasoalaForest Lodge
Day 11
Extended 7hr walk in the Rain Forest....
Overnight in Masoala Forest lodge
Day 12 Morning free.

Day 13 Depart Masoala by Boat at 0700 hrs, arrive Maroantsetra at 0930 hrs.
Depart Maroantsetra at 1030 hrs land at Nosy Be at 1130 hrs. Exit Madagascar, refuel.
Depart Nosy Be at 1230 hrs. Lunch on Board. Arrive Dar Es Salaam 1700 hrs.
Depart Dar Es Salaam 1800 hrs, arrive Nairobi 2000 hrs.
